What we think of Respect4us
Jack Halfpenny
We had a tour of Open Youth Venue in the city and I liked the recording studio. I like Respect4us because there is plenty of food and you get treated well. Jack hopes to go onto the Phoenix Plus course at City college Norwich and should gain his Sports Award and his adult literacy and numeracy while at Respect4us.
Nathan Minter
At Respect4us I have enjoyed going to the skateparks and playing football especially at Sloughbottom park. I also like playing ping pong and pool while making new friends. I like the food as well because it is very tasty. Also doing some DIY is very good as I have started making a kitchen table. Another trip I enjoyed was when we went and saw the seals.Nathan, who only attends one day a week, excels in all our practical projects and shows high ability in our literacy and numeracy sessions
Shelley Cookson
Being at Respect4us has been good. They take us on loads of activities such as swimming, walks, climbing etc You also meet new people. some are goons but most are alright. My favourite person is Chelsea, she is stunning, nice and very caring. She is always there 4 you when you need to talk to someone.Shelley enjoys all our outdoor projects including walking and biking and has shown aptitude in our literacy sessions.
Sam Walker
I liked the swimming at Beccles outdoor pool and using the diving board. I liked going to all the skateparks. We did a survey of all the parks in Norfolk - Eaton park, Thorpe Marriott, North Walsham, Reepham, Aylsham and Fiddlewood. The very best one we found wasn't in Norfolk, it was in Lowestoft! We also tested the BMX tracks at Soughbottom, Sprowston and Bacton woods. Sam has passed ALAN level 1 and wider key skills (x3) and his sports award. We have supported him in his applications including accompanying him to college interviews and he will be going on to BTec level 1 in Active Sports at City College Norwich
