Cycling for some very special children

When the Respect4us team decided to cycle out on the Marriott’s Way to stay overnight in the Red House hostel at Dunton near Fakenham, Sam Walker suggested they do it in aid of the children at the Hall School.  On Monday Jack Jones, who cycled all 32 miles, presented Headteacher, Keith McKenzie, with a cheque for the money they collected in sponsorship.   In total 14 young people took part in the ride, one of the youngest being Michael Scott.  The team was represented at the Hall School by Jack, Sam and Michael who were given a tour of his inspirational school by Mr McKenzie.

 Mr. McKenzie said,

The wonderful Respect 4 Us team have demonstrated that young people are caring, considerate and generous. Today at Hall Special School we were delighted to receive their kind donation which will be used to improve our multisensory hydrotherapy pool. In the current economic climate these thoughtful people managed to raise considerable funds by cycling so far. I have great respect for each team member and wish them every success for their future.
