In the Autumn of 2013 we began a second outreach unit to work with young people in eastern Norfolk . Originally based at the Claydon Pavilion Community Centre, since September 2014 we have had permanent premises at 2 Jones Way (behind Tescos).
The Yarmouth unit operates currently on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
When operating at full capacity the unit will take up to 12 young people following a number of different programmes.
As with all Respect4us units the first priority is engagement. We make sure the young people are listened to and enjoy their experience of coming to us. Our low staff-student ratio enables us to spend a lot of time listening to individuals and helping them to address their issues. All our programmes are designed to keep our young people active, developing physical fitness, social and team working skills and functional skills in literacy and numeracy. All our young people will take OCR progression units in literacy and numeracy and KS4 will recieve help to gain post-16 college places or training programmes to go on to.
