Vanessa Bandy Bid writing adviser

Vanessa has 10 years experience writing sucessful bids and raising funds
for academic research projects. As a Patron she will redirect these skills to
raise funds for our work, helping us to expand the scope of our activities.
Vanessa is also experienced in office managment and small business development
and so hopes to help and support the development of our young people's skills
and knowledge in any way she can. As Vanessa sits outside our normal day to day
activities she also provides a sympathetic ear for us to bounce ideas off for the
development of Respect4us in the future.

 Kate Wilde                        Business Adviser

Kate's mission is to inspire and motivate people to start, grow and succeed in business.  She has received recognition for her work receiving an award for "Innovative use of Advisory Skills" by the Institute of Business Advisers in 2006 and an award as "Best Business Supporter" by Enterprising Women in 2008.  Her book about the practical issues involved in starting up in business, "A Journey into Business" was published in 2012.

The R4U staff are all experts in their field but working as educators in the public sector is not necessarily  the best preparation for running your own business.  Dom attended one of Kate's "Basics for Business" workshops and has never looked back!  From day 1 Kate has supported and encouraged us all the way.

Chris Bagshaw                    Child Protection Adviser
